Last Sunday, Wings sent two containers of ER series forklifts to customer in North Africa. Among them include a 5-ton diesel forklift with a paper roll clamps ,two 2-ton forklift trucks, one 3-ton forklift truck and an electric pallet truck.

Various attachments were also sent out with the forklifts. Paper roll clamp are the most common forklift attachments used by our customers. Because it is flexible and easy to carry roll shaped cargoes. The paper roll clamp can be opened and closed and 360 degree rotation by controlling a joystick.
We can customize paper roll clamps with different specifications and sizes. Generally speaking, small tonnage forklifts, such as 2 and 3 tons, are equipped with lighter weight and smaller paper roll clamp.

When we first got this order, we were facing a problem for connecting the paper roll clamp on the 5 tons forklift. Let me show you how did we fix the problem. As we know, the backrest of the forklifts is very important, they need to hold to goods in place and prevent them from falling on the cabin to make any danger. The standard backrest height of the CPCD50F diesel forklift is 1275 mm, which is too short for the paper roll clamp the customer ordered. If we keep using this backrest, it might not be high enough to protect the driver and may cause some danger.
So our technical department had a meeting to discuss the possible solutions and finally settled the most safe and economical solution- design a new backrest for this customer with 10 cm higher height and didn’t add extra charge to this customer. We aim to be customer focused and reasonably custom sized at no extra charge. Higher backrest prevents goods from tipping over and improves operational safety. Safety of both cargo and driver can be assured.
