1.      Maintenance Profile

(1)   The forklifts need regular check and maintenance which will help it retain high performance. Some critical parts need to be changed regularly as required.

(2)   Use the original parts as replacement. Don’t refuel the forklift with different type oil.

(3)   Any damage or failure must be reported to the administrative. And never put the trouble forklift to use. When the emergency repairs are needed, tow the vehicle to a safety zone, leave it o the professionals.

(4)    The repaired work must not be performed by unqualified person.

2.      Essentials before starting vehicle

(1)   The capacity level of hydraulic oil should be at the middle of calibration gauge.

(2)   Check if there is any damage or leakage on tube, joints, pump and valves.

(3)   Safety braking of brake pedal should be 40mm.The gap of between front base plate and pedal should be no less than 20mm.

(4)   Pull the hand parking grip to bottom, the vehicle should be able to stop at 20% ramp without load.

(5)   Check and test whether the instruments, lights, connectors, switches, and electrical lines work well.

3.      Cooling System Operation Notice

(1)   If the radiator boils or the coolant is on high temperature during driving the forklift, you might need to open the radiator cap to search reasons. Do remember don’t open it immediately when the engine is hot. Make the engine run at the middle speed, slowly rotate the cap and wait a while before opening the cap. That will prevent the staff from being scalded by the boiling liquid. Then tightening the cap into place is a must after the checking. Otherwise, the required pressure system will not be achieved.

(2)   If the forklift is equipped with tank, the coolant capacity level should be between FULL and LOW marks which are attached on the tank. Replenish the same type anti-rust coolant when it is not enough. Coolant could be for long-term us with annually filtration and purification. The bottled coolant should be placed well as it is a toxic liquid. If it is taken onto human body, try to spit it and go to doctor immediately.

(3)   Make a regular wash of radiator surface according to the work condition, detergent or compressed air is OK. High-pressure water, no less than 4kg/cm2, is also fine.
