1Connection sequence when charging electric forklift battery:
a. First, pull out the forklift battery socket

b. Connect the battery port (the connector on the active end of the vehicle) to the charger,
c. Finally, the charging machine AC power supply is connected to the mains AC380V or mains AC220V power supply. Turn on the charging switch, the work light turns on to start charging, and when the battery is full, the "full light" light indicates full.

Note: Unplugging the charging plug during charging creates an arc before the plug can be unplugged after the charger is turned off. After charging, a lot of hydrogen is trapped around the battery, no open flame is allowed, the cover on the battery should be opened for charging.

2
Battery should try to avoid overcharge and over-discharge, single battery voltage down to 1.70V should be timely recharge, the fuel meter shows to 70% or less when over-discharge, often over-discharge will affect the capacity of the battery. When the battery over-discharge approaches the limit, the forklift control system will automatically activate the protection function, first limiting the work of the forklift lift motor, the walking motor can continue to work, at this time the forklift should travel to the charging area to recharge the power.

3
The battery should be recharged in a timely manner after each use, with a maximum interval of not more than 24 hours.

4The battery should be charged in a cool, airy, away from open flames to prevent a hydrogen explosion.

5
Prevent power loss storage, loss of power storage is the most harmful to the battery. Long-term batteries must be recharged once a month (normal charging method).

6
Battery surfaces, connectors and bolts should always be kept clean and dry.

7
Battery joints must be kept in good contact to prevent sparks from burning the pole column or causing the battery to explode.

8
The battery must not fall into any harmful impurities and instruments measuring electrolyte density, temperature and liquid surface should be kept clean.

9
Do not place any conductive items on the battery cover to avoid short circuits in the battery.

Daily inspection:
    1
Liquid surface: below the rated liquid surface, will shorten the life of the battery, and too little electrolyte will cause heat damage to the battery, therefore, always pay attention to whether the electrolyte is sufficient.

    2
Post, wire, lid: The corrosion caused by oxidation at the joint of the battery post and at the connection to the wire must be checked frequently, as well as whether the lid is deformed and hot.

    3
Appearance: Dirty battery surface will cause leakage, should make the battery surface clean and dry at any time.

Regular maintenance:
Check the liquid surface and proportion of the battery electrolyte every half month or the whole month (open the battery cap to view), if you do not see the liquid surface should be replenished distilled water in time to visible water surface (no tap water or mineral water or electrolyte can be used), the proportion should be adjusted when deviating from the specified value.
